Training and Professional Development

The ongoing process of learning and developing skills includes professional training sessions. If knowledge is power, then Olive, Edwards, & Cooper empowers its clients through powerful, practical, hands-on seminars and workshops. 

Topics can range from how Congress works to how a particular policy applies in a particular industry.  We also help clients develop sales and marketing strategies, through comprehensive training and human resource development. Sessions may be general or customized, large-group, small-group, or one-on-one. They can be made to fit in an hour or detailed to fill several days. Depending on your desires, sessions can involve hands-on activities and exercises, discussions or lectures, or intense personal coaching. 

We have particular experience in presentation training, where clients can improve their presentation appearance. We coach clients on how to appear more confident during testimony, a speech, or news interview, help them learn to increase dynamism in their style, and offer feedback on vocal qualities, gestures, mannerisms, and bearing — with the goal that the client’s message gets delivered in the most compelling manner. Nothing beats having greater understanding of a subject, and a speaker’s self-confidence only enhances his credibility, rapport with the audience, and persuasiveness.
